Setup and compatibility
Does it work with the WooCommerce Checkout block?
Yes. The redirect happens when checkout completes, on both the Checkout block and the classic [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode.
Does it work with PayPal, Stripe and other providers that open their own page?
Yes. When a payment sends the customer to the bank or the provider’s site, the customer finishes paying there first. When they come back to your store’s “Order received” page, they are redirected to your page.
Is it compatible with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage)?
Yes, and with the Cart and Checkout blocks. Both are declared to WooCommerce.
Does it work on multisite?
Yes, including when WooCommerce is network-activated. Rules and settings are per site.
Do I need to edit theme files?
No. Everything is set up in the admin, and the page is built with your normal editor or page builder. Themes can still override the order layout if they want to.
Is it translated?
It is translation-ready — text domain redirect-thank-you-page — and translations from translate.wordpress.org install automatically.
Rules and matching
Does it work when the cart has several products?
Yes. A product rule matches if the order contains the product, whatever else is in the cart. With Match set to Every selected product…, it must contain all of the listed products. When several rules match, the lowest Priority number wins.
Does it work with variable products?
Yes. Put the parent (variable) product in the rule; every variation matches. Variations are not listed separately in the picker.
Can I redirect to another website?
Yes: choose A custom URL. The address is used exactly as you entered it, and your order key is never sent to another site.
Privacy and tracking
Can other visitors see a customer’s order?
No. The order is only shown with the order’s secret key, which only the customer receives. Orders placed from an account also need that customer to be logged in, and older guest orders ask for the billing email, like WooCommerce’s own page.
Will it break my analytics or conversion tracking?
It is designed not to: WooCommerce’s thank-you events run on your page once per order, and most tracking plugins listen to those. Check your tracking tool after setup.
What does the plugin send to other services?
The plugin uses Freemius for optional usage insights, licensing and upgrades.
If you opt in: your name and email, site address and title, WordPress, PHP and plugin versions, site language, installed plugins and themes, and plugin events, kept up to date while you stay opted in. If you skip: nothing, except anonymous feedback you choose to give when deactivating the plugin. When you buy, start a trial or activate a licence: your licence and the site it is used on.
The full statement is in the plugin’s readme under “External services”.
Upgrading and editions
I upgraded from 1.x. Do my redirects still work?
Yes. Your product and payment method redirects are copied into the new rules list automatically, your old data is kept, and redirects keep working during the copy, even before you open the admin. Rules now have a priority, which follows the order 1.x checked them in; review the list once. The [wmprty_order_detail] shortcode keeps working, and old links to the settings page under Products open the new screen.
Is there a Pro version?
Pro is in development and not released yet. Everything described in these pages is free and stays free.
